TENNIS Grass Seed

The species used in Tennis have changed over recent years. Initially groundsmen used fescue, bent combinations. The advent of new fine-leaved amenity perennial ryegrass has rapidly replaced this option.

The new amenity ryegrasses will withstand very close mowing, provide high shoot density and wear tolerance.

We also offer a mixture of ryegrass and slender creeping red fescue to optimise the sward density.

This mixture incorporating turf type perennial ryegrass gives fast establishment, strong soil binding characteristics and wear tolerance. This is particularly so on wicket ends and tennis court base lines. Fine dense appearance.
